New company at start-up stages! Looking for interested persons currently unemployed who want to venture into the unknown... Try RefugeePress! Presently vacancies for 12 persons to train in Intercultural Workshops to be implemented in schools, libraries, community health/development centres. Focus is Forced Migration. This is not about Economic Migrants. This is about genuine Geneva Convention Refugees. What are the issues at policy level? What are the issues at community level? What do Refugees have to say for themselves? How did they cope with little in starting over in new climes? Did you know there are 2 Classes of Refugees? PROGRAM & CONVENTION. What do these mean? Are the myths about Refugees' health, social welfare et al... true? Want to experience a day in the life of a Refugee? African Poetry, Literature & Art are the body of materials for workshops. Then there is Outreach-going out to schools & libraries come Autumn, debating & presenting the human face. All are welcome to participate. This is free of charge. Use this Summer to learn, develop & educate on Refugees. This is not a judgmental media desk. Whatever your viewpoint, you are welcome! Participants can look forward to being in a network of Educators who value, respect & uphold Human Rights. Whatever sector you have been made redundant from, you are welcome! Selected persons at the end of training get opportunity to build the company with equal shares. Target market is the Africa & Euroepan Unions-Educational, Cultural & Tourism. Opportunities to travel West Africa, where most Refugees to Ireland come from. Program for travel include making documentaries on the Rites of Passage, those socio-politico affairs giving rise to refugee movements.
